Fall Music for the Masses Concert TBA

We are planning another wonderful Music for the Masses event to take place this fall. More info to come as the arrangements develop.

Music for the Masses June 14th concert is fast approaching!!

Don't forget about this wonderful free local community event! Several professional musicians have spared their time to bring beautiful and fun music to the community. There will be refreshments and an opportunity to speak to the performers following the concert.

We hope to see a large audience this friday at the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church, near the Skagit Valley Hospital. Bring your family and friends!!

June 14th Concert Update!

Update!

For Music for the Masses June 14th concert we will be looking forward to some Artie Shaw jazz arrangements, music from The Barber of Seville, traditional native flute music, classical vocal pieces, Japanese folk music, a demonstration of the largest and smallest saxophones in the world, and now we have just added Marshall Elliot to the program. Mr. Elliot is from Bellingham, Wa. and will be performing four contemporary finger guitar pieces this coming Friday.

Cantabile of Skagit Valley (Mother's Day Concert)

Several members of the Cantabile of Skagit Valley choral group have performed at previous Music for the Masses events. Following is a link to a few videos from their concert on Mother's Day. June 14th Summer Concert!

Here is the poster with some information about the upcoming June 14th Music for the Masses event...

We will be featuring the performance of a contrabass saxophone (the largest in the saxaphone family) as well as a soprillo saxaphone (the smallest in the saxaphone family). There will also be performances in a variety of music genres, ranging from jazz to opera, on a variety of instruments.

Update for the April 19th Concert...

Thanks to a generous donor we will be giving away two tickets (lodge seating) for the upcoming Skagit Valley Chorale concert at McIntyre Hall on March 27th. We will be providing slips at the door for the drawing to be held at the conclusion of tonight's performance. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
